15th Annual Vancouver Latin American Film Festival: coming this Aug. 24

From August 24th to September 3rd, the 15th Annual Vancouver Latin American Film Festival celebrates the festival’s Quinceañera with films from throughout Latin America, including Argentina, Chile, Mexico and this year’s guest country, Cuba. 

Featuring the most women directors in the festival’s history, highlights of the 15th Annual Vancouver Latin American Film Festival include Women in Activismo!, the festival’s activism film showcase the Lower Mainland watch, debate, and champion eight films vying for the Festival’s Youth Choice Award for Best New Director.

Online ticket sales (at wannawatch.it/vlaff) begin Aug. 12, starting at $8 for all youth screenings and discount matinees for Seniors 65+, Students 18+ with valid ID & Arts Workers with ID or business card! All screenings are unrated and by law require a $2 Vancouver Latin American Film Festival membership, available at the door or at vlaff.org/membership-2017.
